Ashtakvarga is a unique system in Vedic astrology that assigns numerical values to assess the strength and influence of planets in different houses of your birth chart.
The Ashtakvarga system uses a point-based method where each planet contributes points (0-8) to each house. These points help determine favorable and unfavorable periods in life, as well as the strength of different life areas.
Each of the 7 planets plus the Ascendant contribute points to all 12 houses. Higher points in a house indicate more favorable results from that house's significations.
The total of all planetary contributions to each house gives the Sarvashtakvarga, which shows the overall strength of each house in your chart.
